Compass is a non-profit organization which provides specialized training designed to empower children, preteens and teens with skills needed to protect themselves from sexual assault, domestic violence and abduction.

One out of every four girls and one out of every seven boys will be the victim of a sexual assault by the age of fourteen. More boring statistics? Not if you are one of those statistics!

Compass relies solely on the contributions of its sponsors.

Here’s how you can help:

Individuals:

• As about Compass training at your workplace
• Petition organizations in your community to engage Compass for training
• Volunteer in fund raising and/or administrative areas for Compass
• Make a tax deductible financial gift (takes to another page showing levels, etc.)
• Sponsor Compass through your employer's United Way Campaign. Simply write in Compass as your designated agency.
• As your employer about a matching charitable gifts program

Businesses/Corporations

• Sponsor a school or other organization to receive Compass training
• Promote Compass through your United Way Campaign as a write in agency.
• Engage Compass for training in your workplace
• Make a tax deductible financial gift (takes to another page showing levels, etc.)

Individual Sponsorship Programs

• Platinum
  With your contribution of $400 or more, you can sponsor a specific organization (school, church, youth group, etc.) to benefit from the Compass training. Your name, as sponsor, will appear on the materials used in the class.
• Gold - $200 to $399
• Silver - $50 to $199
• Bronze - $25 to $49
• Rainbow
  If you are a resident of South Hampton Roads, and are an associate with a company that contributes to the United Way, you can sponsor Compass via this channel. Simply write in Compass as your designated organization for your contributions.
